Our client provides specialised fabrication and maintenance services across various locations to industry leaders around Sydney.
About the role:
Based in Botany, we are looking for a Workshop Fitter who has welding skills to undertake repairs to rolling stock that supports movement of luggage at the airports.
It would be advantageous if the candidate has a Forklift licence (LF) or willing to get one.
Ideally you would be a trade qualified Mechanical Fitter who has a very sound understanding of all types of fitting work and welding skills.
The right person will be able to commit to this rotating role comprising of 8 hour shifts on a 5-day week: 6am – 2pm for 2 weeks then swapping to 2pm – 10pm as well as being available for weekend work from time to time when required.
Candidates must be able to drive and possess a clean licence and be aware there is a possibility you may have to obtain ASIC clearance in the future and pass D&A testing if required to go on site.
What’s in it for you:
- Hourly rate circa $45 – $50ph + Super
- Monday to Friday, and some weekend work as required
- Rotating roster (6am – 2pm then swapping to 2pm – 10pm)
- Have 1 RDO every 4 weeks.
- Temp to perm role for the right candidate
