Powder Coating Manager

We’re currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Powder Coating Manager to join our client’s team in Penrith.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical ability, solid experience in metal fabrication, and excellent people and production management skills.

We are looking for someone who can lead by example on the floor, support a team, and drive productivity and quality standards within the powder coating department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily powder coating operations and workflow
• Lead, support, and mentor team members on the floor
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met
• Apply strong technical knowledge in powder coating and metal fabrication
• Assist with continuous improvement of processes and efficiency
• Be actively involved in hands-on powder coating work as required

About You:

• Background in metal fabrication and/or powder coating
• Strong leadership and people management capability
• Experience as a Leading Hand ready to take the next step
• Hands-on, practical approach with strong technical skills
• Willing to actively work in the powder coating environment
• Reliable, motivated, and quality-focused

What’s on Offer:

• Permanent full-time role
• Salary: $85,000 + Super
• 4-day work week, Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm (10-hour shifts)
