About the Role
This role offers a unique dual responsibility, where you will initially work on the factory floor wiring switchboards before transitioning to the testing area as required. You’ll play a key part in ensuring high-quality electrical assembly and testing standards.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLC control panels, rectifiers, VSDs/inverters, and AC/DC motors. You must be able to read and interpret schematics, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
? Wiring & Assembly – Build main switchboards, distribution boards, and control panels
? Electrical Testing & Troubleshooting – Perform functionality testing, diagnose issues, and ensure compliance with standards
? Programming & Integration – Work with PLC/HMI systems (Allen Bradley), VFD drives, and control boards
? Quality Control & Documentation – Inspect and test electrical panels per schematics/BOM, ensuring compliance with AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
? Safety & Compliance – Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and procedures
What We’re Looking For
? Qualified Tradesperson – NSW Supervisor or ‘A’ Grade Electrical License
? Experience in Switchboard/Control Panel Wiring – Confident working with copper busbar, AC/DC motors, and inverters
? Strong Troubleshooting Skills – Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently
? Attention to Detail – Takes pride in high-quality work and precise documentation
