Farm Hand Glossodia

We are seeking a reliable and practical Farm Hand to assist with the day-to-day operations of our breeder farm in Glossodia. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, equipment upkeep, and contributing to high animal welfare and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with egg room and cool room operations
• Collect, clean, and grade eggs in line with training and procedures
• Ensure first-quality product is produced for customers
• Maintain accurate production and reporting records
• Follow hygiene, biosecurity, and HACCP requirements
• Clean and sanitise egg handling equipment and work areas
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and managers
• Comply with WHS, QA, and company safety systems
• Assist with general farm duties as required

• Practical and farm or maintenance oriented
• Enjoy hands-on, physical work in an outdoor environment
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-focused
• Willing to participate in training and quality programs
• Committed to animal welfare and hygiene standards

Requirements

• Current driver’s licence and own transport (no public transport available)
• Must live within a reasonable distance of Glossodia

What we offer

• Full-time Ongoing, temp-perm
• Casual Hourly Rate $30.35 ph + Super
• Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 2:30 pm
• Occasional Saturdays (6:30 am starts, approx. 3-4 hours)
