Our client is one of the leaders in Industrial Automation and Electrical Engineering Solutions supporting various sectors across industry.
An opportunity has become available for a Licenced Electrician with testing experience to join their team.
The successful candidate ideally would have experience in PLC control panels and a strong command of the English language both verbal and written in order to liaise with clients and other stakeholders.
In order to understand their product and standards, a strong training plan is in place to induct you throughout all areas of the production cycle from wiring of switchboards on the factory floor before transitioning to the testing area and undertaking training at higher level.
The ideal candidate will be able to assist in establishing and implementing best work practices.

- Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
What experience/skill do you need:
- Current electrical license or trades qualified Electrical Fitter
- Experience in building main switchboards, distribution boards and control panels
- Experienced in wiring of the boards and working with copper busbar
- Experienced in reading schematic diagrams
- Takes pride in completing work to a high quality and standard attention to detail
- Be reliable & have a sound work ethic
- Computer literacy
- Perform electrical functionality testing on electrical panels per documentation
- Electrical troubleshooting aptitude
- Perform programming of control boards and VFD drives/loading of PLC programs
- Inspection of electrical control panels per schematic/BOM
- Complete QC documentation
