An exciting opportunity has become available for a Licenced Electrician to undertake testing and compliance of Switchboards and Control Panels within an Industry Leader of Automation Solutions.
The successful candidate ideally would have experience in PLC control panels, Rectifiers, VSD/inverters and AC DC Motors.
In order to understand their product and standards, a strong training plan is in place to induct but the role is a dual role where you will be on the factory floor wiring switchboards before moving to the testing area as needed.

- Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
Essential Skills required fulfil the role:
- Trades qualified Electrical Fitter or Current Electrical licence.
- Perform electrical functionality testing on electrical panels per documentation.
- Experienced in reading schematic diagrams.
- Electrical troubleshooting aptitude
- Strong command of English language to communicate with stakeholders both written and verbal
- Computer literacy
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in building main switchboards, distribution boards and control panels.
- Experienced in wiring of the boards and working with copper busbar.
- Experience in AC DC Motors, Inverters and VSD’s
- PLC/HMI conversant – Allen Bradley
- Perform programming of control boards and VFD drives/loading of PLC programs
- Inspection of electrical control panels per schematic/BOM
- Complete QC documentation
