Temping – whether it be short term or long term can be a great way to re-enter the workforce or maintain flexibility
We treat you like a person….
We value being ‘hands on’ and ‘approachable’, building personalised relationships with candidates and clients alike, so it is imperative for us to meet you so that we can fully understand your capabilities and what you want in a temporary role.
Worthwhile requires and conducts validation and verification of your skills and your ID, so you can join our database of skilled clerical, sales and customer support people. What you need to bring/send:
- Resume
- Contact details for two referees
- Drivers’ licence and Passport or Birth Certificate
- Identification e.g. Bank card or Medicare Card
- Relevant Qualifications/Certificates/Licenses
Police Checks and Pre-employment Medicals are often requested and paid for by some clients – if you have copy of a police check done in the last 6 months please bring it to save time.
You are a Worthwhile Temp and together we are a Team
Temping is beneficial to both candidates and to businesses; it can fill an urgent gap, allow flexibility, and importantly – for you – provide the opportunity to try a variety of roles and workplace environments before taking on a permanent position, if that’s your goal.
When you work with us, we are not just filling a temp assignment, as we are interested in how we can work with you on an ongoing basis as a team.
Online timesheets, approval and reporting technology
We make it easy for you to record your hours. Online timesheets, approval and reporting technology are all a vital part of the process.
Our employee portal allows you to track your temp hours online, ensuring quick employer approval and accurate payment to you weekly.
Our hourly rates include:
- A minimum hire period of four hours
- Gross Wages
- Casual Loading
- Superannuation
Your wages are paid weekly and payslips are sent from Xero.
