Yard Hand / Labourer

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Hand / Labourer to join our client on an initial 5-6-week assignment based in Penrith, with the potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping a worksite organised, and is happy to get involved in a variety of yard and labouring duties.

Key Responsibilities

• General yard housekeeping and clean-up
• Moving materials and equipment throughout the yard
• Assisting in maintaining a safe, tidy, and organised work environment
• Operating a forklift as required
• Performing general labouring duties as directed

What’s on Offer

• $35.00 per hour + Super
• Initial 5-6 week assignment
• Immediate start available
• 4-day work week: Monday to Thursday
• 6:30 am – 4:30 pm (10-hour shifts)
• Opportunity for extension for the right candidate

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current LF Forklift Licence (essential)
• Ability and willingness to perform physical labour and yard maintenance duties
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Excellent reliability and punctuality
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
