Sheet Metal Fabricator

Our client specialises in manufacturing a wide range of metal products, from medical equipment and furnishings to filtration cages, retail displays, and construction materials.

They are currently looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their team in St Marys. In this role, you will be fabricating, assembling, and repairing sheet metal products using a variety of tools and techniques.

• Casual hourly rate $37-$40 dep on exp + Super

What you will be doing:

• Fabricating and assemble sheet metal components to technical drawings
• Operating tools such as press brakes, guillotines, rollers, grinders, and welding equipment
• Inspecting finished products to ensure accuracy, durability, and compliance with safety standards
• Working closely with designers and other trades to deliver projects on time.
• Keeping the work area clean and safe
• Following WHS policies and procedures
• Carrying out other factory duties as required

What we are looking for:

• Proven sheet metal fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of metals including stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel.
• Reliable, respectful, and punctual
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Welding experience (advantageous)
• Full working rights in Australia
