Factory Assistant/General Hand

Our client specialises in high-quality sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing across a range of industries, locally and internationally.

They’re looking to bring on a motivated Factory Assistant/General Hand to join their production team.

What you will be doing:

• Supporting the production team with general manufacturing tasks
• Performing factory, process and assembly duties
• Keeping the work area clean and safe
• Handling, counting, checking materials, packaging and preparing finished goods
• Operating machinery to manufacture metal components
• Following WHS policies and procedures
• Conducting QA checks and assisting with stocktake
• Meeting individual and team KPIs and deadlines
• Carry out other factory duties as required

What we are looking for:

• Good written and verbal English skills
• A self-starter with a willingness to learn
• Reliable, respectful, and punctual
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Previous experience is considered but not essential – all training provided
• Welding experience is a bonus but not required
• Full working rights in Australia

Education Requirements:

• School Certificate (Year 10 or equivalent) or
• Certificate II in Manufacturing Technology (MSM20216) or
• Certificate II in Process Manufacturing (MSM20116)
