An exciting opportunity has become available for a Licenced Electrician to undertake testing and compliance of switchboards and control panels within an industry leader of automation solutions.
This role offers a unique dual responsibility, where you will initially work on the factory floor wiring switchboards before transitioning to the testing area as required. You’ll play a key part in ensuring high-quality electrical assembly and testing standards.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLC control panels, rectifiers, VSDs/inverters, and AC/DC motors. You must be able to read and interpret schematics, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
- Wiring & Assembly – Build main switchboards, distribution boards, and control panels
- Electrical Testing & Troubleshooting – Perform functionality testing, diagnose issues, and ensure compliance with standards
- Programming & Integration – Work with PLC/HMI systems (Allen Bradley), VFD drives, and control boards
- Quality Control & Documentation – Inspect and test electrical panels per schematics/BOM, ensuring compliance with AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
- Safety & Compliance – Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and procedures
What do we need from you:
- Qualified Tradesperson – NSW Supervisor or ‘A’ Grade Electrical License
- Experience in Switchboard/Control Panel Wiring – Confident working with copper busbar, AC/DC motors, and inverters
- Strong Troubleshooting Skills – Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently
- Attention to Detail – Takes pride in high-quality work and precise documentation
